This website editor has finally managed to upload the 2010 Draw!
It can be found under Fixture/Results, and printed off as a one-page Excel document here or under Club Admin/Downloads.
So what are the features of this draw?
- Sawtell opens the 2010 season on ANZAC weekend with a home game to unveil the premiership flag, against Nambucca Valley.
- Fans will not have to wait long for the Grand Final replay between the Saints and North Coffs Kangaroos (Round 2).
- The draw affords the outlier clubs (Grafton, Nambucca Valley and Port Macquarie) more home games for the coming season. This notion has been embraced in an effort to build on the hard development work and subsequent growth taking part in these areas.
- This year after the success a couple of seasons ago, the AFL NSW/ACT Country AFL Championships will again take part on the June long weekend in Wagga Wagga. This acts as our Representative weekend with no club games being played.
- Again this year, the clubs will raise funds for men's cancer research (Call to Arms). In addition, the League hopes to announce details soon on more community initiatives that have been trialled successfully in other regional competitions.
