The coaching panel has advised that the following players have been selected in the 25 man squad to represent the North Coast in our representative fixture against the TAFL in Armidale on Saturday June 12th.
Peter Chadwick is the appointed coach and he will be assisted by Paul Sheldon.
Squad as follows:
NORTH COFFS: Brad Giri, Alex Delves, Levi Sands
COFFS SWANS: Kris Rundell, Ben Miller, Sam Turner
PORT MACQUARIE: Michael Kemp, Dean Nankervill, Jesse Schmidt, Greg Dean, Craig Dicker
GRAFTON: Justin Darby, Jarrod Meade
NAMBUCCA VALLEY: Jim Angel, Luke Benson, Jed Ellis-Cluff, Monty Schmidt, Aaron Clarke
SAWTELL/TOORMINA: Elliott Schmidt, Mark Couzens, Daniel Pritchard, Simon Taylor, Ethan Kelly, Jack Gillingham, Ben Hooke
The side has a younger touch this year with several players currently in the Under 18 competition. Sawtell is the top team in the competition and is best represented with seven players, with Nambucca and Port each contributing five players.
The announcement of the final 22 man team will be announced at the conclusion of Round 7. At this stage a light training run for non-Port based players is being arranged for Thursday evening 10th June at Coffs Leisure Park (North Coffs) at 6pm.
AFLNC will hold a formal presentation and players meeting at the Coffs Hotel on Friday 11th June.
The team will be required to travel up to Armidale on Saturday morning and a lunch meeting will be arranged at Armidale. TAFL have arranged a function for after the game.
