As noted in the Preview, home clubs will be raising funds for the Call to Arms initiative, over the next fortnight (starting this Round). This initiative recognises the fight against men's cancer.
Call To Arms started in 2006, when Essendon Football Club showed their support for teammate Adam Ramanauskas, who was diagnosed with cancer, by wearing yellow armbands in the first Clash For Cancer against Melbourne Football Club. Since then, sporting clubs across Australia have joined the cause and wear yellow for one game to help in the fight against cancer.
So please donate generously when watching the Footy over the next two weeks.
