There was all of the match preparations, training, recovery, match reviews and education sessions to best prepare players for life in the AFL.
AFL NSW/ACT Talent and Coaching Manager Darren Denneman said the event at Albury was fantastic.
“This is a really unique event as we get to bring in the best footballers from all corners of the state/territory and map out from a young age what is required to make it in the AFL.
“All participants trained, played, recovered and learnt like AFL players whilst utilising unlimited access to coaches, staff and teammates.
“When they go back to their local clubs they’ll be a lot better for the experience and know what’s on the horizon and how they can fulfil their dreams of playing in the AFL.”
"The trials provided a great picture for where AFL football is going to be in NSW and the ACT and the types of players that we're going to produce in four or five years time."
