The North Coast Swans Academy is broken into three training groups, one based in Yamba, one in Coffs and one in Port Macquarie. Every fortnight these three groups come together for a combined session on the BCU stadium. Last night local coaches had a great opportunity to come down and view a combined session on the BCU stadium. They received a hand out that contained all of the night’s drills that is composed by the skills acquisitionist from the Sydney Swans. No doubt that some of these drills will be used at local level over the upcoming season.
Matt Crawley was assisted by Greg Robson (AFL North Coast Chairman) as well as Rod MacPherson (representing AFLNC Seniors) and Jason Phillips (representing the AFLNC Juniors).
The administration workshop was run with success covering areas such as creating quality environments, Club Compliance, Club fundraising and Promotion, volunteers and upcoming education and training sessions.
Thank you again to all of those people that gave up their own time to be there. It’s these people who keep their club’s and leagues running.
