STARTING pre-season training back in November has paid off for Sawtell/Toormina.
In the 2012 and 2013 grand finals the Saints had been overrun in the final quarter. Spurred on by the failures, Sawtell/Toormina vowed to get fitter and the investment of hard work has reaped the ultimate dividend.
The Saints kicked five unanswered goals against the Coffs Swans in the final quarter with best-on-ground Aaron Clarke (pictured) breaking the Swans hearts with two goals in the final stanza to make it five for the day.
