The Saints made it six straight and guaranteed themselves the minor premiership with another classy display against the North Coffs Kangaroos at Richardson Park.
Ben Hooke was outstanding and was in a hurry to reach the magical feat of 100 goals in a season. He got there easily, booting eleven for the day, as the 'Roos tried three different opponents, all making no inroad against Hooke's pace on the lead.
The Kangaroos sorely missed the absence of Brad Giri, but kept in touch with the Saints in an entertaining first stanza. After that time, the 'Roos forward line was completely taken out of the contest.
Darren Funston and Sam Dawes tried valiantly to lift the blue and whites, but they didn't get much support as Mark Couzens ran rampant in the centre. He set up several goal assists and was able to break tackles with ease. Jai Hardy was also a strong contributor as he eases his way back into competitive football. Hardy formed a presence across half-forward and worked hard for the victors.
Depth and class was the ultimate decider after quarter-time as the Saints extended their lead at each interval. The difference was noticeable with the Saints continuing their giant-killing run with another solid team performance.

The Coffs Swans won through in what was a scrappy encounter at Ellem Oval.
Grafton, who were missing star, Daniel Zacek, were unable to impose themselves on the contest as the Swans were well served around the ground in a win that will further boost their confidence.
A strong first-half set the Swans up for victory, as they led by 11 goals, mainly due to the influence of Dave Box, who was a focal point in attack. Dave Colman and Evan Duryea were again active across half-forward for the Swans.
Their midfield dominance was strong throughout and again they were able to kept their opponent's score to a minimum on the small ground.
Justin Darby and Dion McGregor continued their strong form for the Tigers but inevitably couldn't lift their side against the skilful Swans outfit.

It was a rout at Stuart Park with the Magpies enjoying an easy win over the hapless Lions.
The class trio of Dean Nankervill, Jacob Hart and Matthew Newton led on the goal sheet, whilst Dan Blysma enjoyed another strong game for the defending premiers.
It was game over early in the contest as the 'Pies booted 13 goals in the first half with quick ball supply a feature of their play. The Lions had no answers and again failed to register a goal as they spent most of the time chasing leather.
Port showed no mercy and ran away with the match with a dominant second half that will be a good lead in to their clash with the Swans, one that will decide which side finishes second on the ladder.
