The Coffs Swans continued their recent momentum with a dominant display against the hapless Magpies at Fitzroy Oval.
A strong seven goal opening quarter set the Swans on their way with Peter Chadwick prominent up forward whilst Shannon Skreja was sin-binned early in the match.
The match evened up in the next two quarters with Port getting more of the football through Dan Blysma and Matthew Long. However, they weren't able to make up any ground with the Swans up by eight goals at three-quarter time.
The red and whites excelled in the final quarter with the young legs running all over the top of the reigning premiers. Wade Hickey was dynamic over the ground, as well as Fraser Duryea who relished extra freedom. The likes of Hamish Pearce and Tristan Snow did the hard work in the centre of the ground and set the Swans in motion on a constant basis.
Jacob Hart was the focal point for the Magpies in what was a dim performance with not many positives. The Swans juggernaut rolled on and are more accustomed now for finals football with improved performances in recent weeks.

The Saints notched up another consecutive win with an easy win against Grafton at a soggy Richardson Park. It wasn't the type of football that would win a beauty pageant but the Saints got the job done without star forward, Ben Hooke, who is in doubt to return this season after picking up an ankle injury last weekend.
Daniel Pritchard filled the void creating many scoring opportunities, along with Dave Meyers. Jai Hardy had a day out across half-forward, with his class standing out whilst others struggled to make an impact in the conditions. Ultimately, it was a good opportunity for the Saints to trial a new structure and that showed later in the contest.
Mark Couzens also strengthened his claims for the League Best and Fairest with another flawless display, whilst Matt Elliott and Todd Matthews were also active for the Saints. Scott Onus, as always, tried hard in the centre but was a lone soldier as Luke Chard and Ryan Sheather were kept busy down back.
The tough road starts now though for the Saints as they face a tough trip to Port next weeked which will play an important part in their finals preparations.
