Sawtell reasserted their favouritism for the Seniors premiership with a spirited final-quarter getting them over the line.
In a match which swung continually in terms of momentum, the Saints got the early jump before the Kangaroos found their way into the contest.
Sawtell again started the second quarter strongly with Todd Matthews a target in the midfield. The top side all season were linking up strongly and were more efficient up forward. Courtney Tune, at centre half-forward, was at his agile best, as the Saints jumped to a three-goal lead heading into the break.
Like most Kangaroos sides in the past, they were able to find their way back into the contest after half-time. Sam Dawes provided his side with a lot of spark across half-back and was the instigator of the Kangaroos revival.
Ironically, the ill-discipline shooting the Saints in the foot turned just before the break when a downfield free kick and subsequent goal to Ben Hooke stemmed the flood.
Despite the efforts of Josh Drum and Brad Giri in the final term, the Kangaroos were overrun by the Saints midfield. The Saints worked well as a unit and their efforts were converted well up forward with Tim Chuhaj active deep in attack.
North Coffs face the unenviable task of facing up next weekend against the unpredictable Port Magpies. There were positive signs from the match but the class of the Saints shone through when it counted as they progressed to their fifth-consecutive Grand Final.

Port Macquarie progressed to another Grand Final by running riot in the final quarter against the Swans.
After working their way into the contest on the back of Sam Phillips through the middle and Ben Miller (3 goals) up forward, the Swans were proving the worth of their minor-premiership position.
Daniel Scott and Scott Payne led the comeback with ten scoring shots paving the way for a 23-point victory.
The Swans face a tough task in getting up next weekend against the Saints.

There was some good news for the red and whites with a three-goal win in the Under 18s in another tight affair.
The Swans found their rudder as the contest progressed after being inefficient early.
Daley Bear was again strong in the air, as was Ben Miller. Mitch Reeves and Billy McLean provided the pace for the Swans to put the Saints under pressure moving into an open forwardline.
The Saints were undermanned but tried hard to keep up with their opponents. Jack Gillingham and Ethan Kelly played good games.
