Women's First Division Championship : "An "A" Level Championship"
The end of 2010 marked the opening of the Women's Division I Championship (2010-2011). This year the flavor of the championship was different, as Lebanese Women National Team moved Lebanon from Level II to Level I on the International Arena. Those ladies were ready for a fierce competition as to shed a strong light on their achievements.
The Championship witnessed powerful confrontation between Beirut Derby Teams: Antranik - Beirut, the 9 consecutive times Lebanese Champions, and Al Riyadi Beirut Team who are struggling to break the spell of Antranik over the Championship. In between those great teams was Homentmen Antelias trying to restore the old days glory.
The end of the Championship resulted in a historic achievement for Antranik in holding the Championship again 10 times in a row by winning over Al Riyadi in the Final, and furthermore winning the Lebanese Cup again in front of Al Riyadi by preserving both cups in the closet of the Club.
