CHBA is pleased to announce the head coaches of the Suns Division 1 Junior Teams for the 2015 season and is now seeking application for our Division 2 sides.

In a joint announcement from the CHBA Representative and Coaches Committees, the following coaches are announced to lead the Division 1 Junior Suns teams in 2015.

       U18 Girls: Ashley Markham
       U18 Boys: Ric Gianoli
       U16 Girls: Kate Harland
       U16 Boys: Connie Woods
       U14 Girls: Justin Baldwin
       U14 Boys: Vicki Robertson
       U12 Girls: Laurie Van Loo
       U12 Boys: Tim Boorman

Following the announcement, head of the Suns Junior Rep. Committee Leisa Mihai commented; "The Association is pleased to be able to announce such a strong line-up of coaches to lead our teams next year. We had multiple applications for some of the head coaching positions which is good news for the Association and made our final decisions difficult. I congratulate the successful coaches and thank all coaches for their interest in coaching the junior Suns in season 2015."

It is the Association's intention to nominate our Division 1 teams for the Country Premier League in 2015 and based on past experience we have some confidence that BNSW will endorse our nominations.

CHBA is now welcoming applications for the coaches of our Division 2 teams which will be nominated to play in the Northern Junior League.  To access the application form click on the "Suns Rep" tab on the home page then select the "2015 Junior Representative Information" sub-menu to download the application form.

The Rep and Coaches Committees are keen to establish a strong coaching culture during the pre-season phase, and when competition gets underway, with coaches working together, sharing knowledge and ensuring our players have the best possible opportunity to reach their potential.
