Andrew Heather appointed as Stadium Manager for Sportz Central

BNSW has today, announced that they have appointed Andrew Heather to the position of Centre Manager - Coffs Sportz Central.

Andrew will commence his role in Coffs on Thursday 28 August 2014.

Andrew is no stranger to the sporting landscape having spent considerable time in and around the Sutherland Basketball Association in Sydney as an employee, coach, official and having an extensive player career which included a developmenbt player role with the Sydney Kings.

In recent times, Andrew has completed his teaching qualifications and has been teaching both primary and high school and in sport program roles in schools in the Illawarra region.

Andrew will report directly to Glenn Gooding, who oversees Sports Stadium Management for all of the BNSW facility portfolio.

Basketball enthusiasts will be pleased to learn that Andrew has wasted no time in becoming involved with Coffs Harbour Basketball, becoming a CHBA registered player last night and playing his first game at Sportz Central with Blue Magic in the A Reserve Men's competition.  
Andrew has also expressed his interest in becoming involved as a coach with the Suns Rep. program.  For the record Andrew scored 6 points in his first outing with Blue Magic!

CHBA welcomes Andrew to Coffs Harbour and looks forward to working more closely and collaboratively with BNSW to grow the game of basketball in town and in the region.
