Queensland Regional Basketball has fantastic way of enjoying the long weekend in a brink of spring. Every year they invite teams from different regions to participate in a competitive game of basketball to be played at beautiful spots within the state. This year the tournament was held at Hervey Bay on the 3^rd-5^th of October.

A newly assembled team joining the tournament for the first time was Coffs Harbour Suns comprising of Jirah Luck and Joe Topalov from Toowoomba; James Crawley, Josh Walters and Daz Best from Sunshine Coast; and your very own Josh Brooke, Jared Luck and Rex Clutario from Coffs Harbour.

Led by team captain Jirah Luck and basketball pro Daz Best, Coffs Harbour Suns dominated the tournament with a 6-0 run over the long weekend. Josh Walters garnered the MVP award.
