ROCKBANK president Mark Smith has bellowed a call to arms as the club continues its most successful start to a season in years.
The Rams are seventh on the Riddell District Football League ladder after five rounds, have three victories already and are being touted as a finals hopeful for the first time in almost a decade.
Rockbank trailed at quarter time against Kilmore on Saturday but led for the rest of the day, winning 10.8 (68) to 8.3 (51).
Smith won't canvass the thought of finals just yet, but hopes the Rockbank faithful will jump on board as the club continues to prosper under rookie coach John Cott.
"If somebody said we'd be here after our first five games I think we'd be very happy," he said.
"For a first-year coach he's doing a really good job. He's a real positive bloke and the players are really responding.
"It'd be great to see some of the past players and supporters turn up. There have been a few get along but we know there are lots more out there."
Recruits have contributed to Rockbank's revival, with former Western Region Football League players Craig Sargent and Matthew Bellingham excelling at either end of the ground. Bellingham kicked four goals in Saturday's victory, while Russell Rich and Matthew Edwards each nailed two.
Rockbank plays Riddell at Ian Cowie Reserve on Saturday.
