Do you dream of being a football game caller? Do you think you have what it takes to produce and present game calls to a high standard? Are you looking for somewhere to hone these skills and gain experience? Or do you just love local footy, and would enjoy being a part of bringing the game to people all across the Riddell District FNL landscape?
Highlands FM, based in Woodend, is looking for volunteers to assist with their coverage of the Riddell District Football Netball League in 2014. Whether it’s calling the game, interviewing players and coaches, providing special comments or helping out on the technical side of things, Highlands FM have positions available for anyone and everyone.
No matter whether you’ve had experience on radio before or you’re looking to get into radio for the first time, Highlands FM will have a spot for you. Training will be provided, and you’ll get to see some great football and netball on Saturdays (and some Sundays) throughout the 2014 season.
If this is the opportunity you have been waiting for, contact Chris Yeend on 0409 127 922 or by e-mail at sport@elliottmidnews.com.au or chris.yeend@hotmail.com to register your interest.
