After sustaining a number of injuries in last year’s finals series, the Riddell Netball Club is making sure it isn’t going to be found short of players this year.
“We vowed to have more diversity on the court this year,” said A-grade coach Eliza Allen.
“We only had our strongest seven on court for most of last year, where this year we have strength off the bench and different combinations.
“It’s great as a coach when you can’t decide your starting seven.”
For the Bombers the changing up of players on court hasn’t done them any harm, as they sit undefeated on top of the ladder.
“We haven’t lost anyone from last season, we have just added a couple of players to compliment who we already have.
