The Tasmanian Football Hall of Fame celebrates and inducts individuals, legends and icons of Tasmanian football each year.
Also inducted are a memorable game, legendary team and a great club. In 2006 the induction of North Launceston as the great club was celebrated by the football public. The 1979 grand final between Clarence and Glenorchy was elevated as the memorable game not only because of the near 25,000 in attendance nor it being the last ever game of the icon Peter Hudson but as it was one of the greatest grand finals where Clarence got up to win with almost the last kick of the game.
