PROLIFIC on-baller Ian Callinan has extended his lead in the Bartercard-McDonalds VFL player of the year award.
Callinan polled four votes for his 25 possessions in Sunday's 63-point win over North Ballarat at Bellerive, despite being tagged by former Carlton player Anthony Franchina.
He is now two votes clear of Ken Hall, who polled three votes on Sunday.
In-form Devils captain Ben Beams earned the five votes for his best on ground performance, booting seven goals.
The winner of the award will receive $1000 plus a 120cm rear-projection television set valued at $4000.
