LITTLE Devils dynamo Ian Callinan has retained his comfortable lead in the Bartercard-McDonald's VFL Player of the Year award.
Callinan was among a fleet of players who polled three votes in Saturday's 56-point demolition of Box Hill at North Hobart to give the Devils a record sixth consecutive win.
He heads the pack with 60 votes from Ken Hall (55), Matthew Geappen (54) and captain Ben Beams (52).
Beams won the top vote of five with an eight-goal haul against Box Hill.
The winner of the award will receive $1000 plus a 120cm rear-projection television set valued at $4000.
