"The sponsorship is worth more than $45,000 and is funded entirely by the people who own and operate the McDonald's Restaurants in Tasmania.
"It's all about supporting football at its grass roots level, to nurture young players of the future. The McDonald's State Development Series is about allowing young athletes to pursue their dreams and to be the best they can be.
"We're proud to support these very fine young people," Mr Magliarditi said.
