AFL Tasmania will present a number of high profile recognition Awards throughout Tasmania next Tuesday 29th November at 11am. Tasmanian Team of the Century Captain and Hall of Fame `Icon' Darrel Baldock will be attending the award ceremony at Ulverstone, along with Hall of Fame inductees Paddy Martin and Graeme `Gypsy' Lee.
The AFL Tasmania Award ceremonies will take place on a regional basis and will feature the presentation of the following awards:
AFL Merit Awards for more than 10 years service to football.
MBF Development Volunteer Awards for coach, sports trainer and administrator.
NAB Volunteer Awards for assisting players who have been drafted.
Team of the Century and Hall of Fame members who were unable to attend the respective ceremonies in 2004 and 2005 will be recognised.
Hall of Fame Certificates will be presented to North Hobart FC (at Hobart), Scottsdale's team of 1973 (at Launceston) and the Tasmania team of 1960 that defeated Victoria (at Ulverstone) to recognise their induction into the Hall of Fame.
