The Minister for Education, Mr David Bartlett, and Tasmanian Devils players and Footy In Schools Co-ordinator - Kane Richter and Nathan Street - will be in attendance at the Media Conference.
Mr Bartlett and the Devils players will inspect the work of students who have participated in the `Aurora Footy in Schools AFL Grand Final Week School Display' competition.
A number of schools from around the state have prepared displays that includes the Aurora logo, football paraphernalia, posters, footballs, beanies, caps, streamers, student drawings and football items.
Mr Bartlett will also launch the AFL Heritage Resource and present a copy of this exciting resource to Abbotsfield Primary School.
The new AFL Heritage Curriculum CD ROM is an exciting national resource for use in both primary and junior secondary schools. The Heritage Resource provides a multi-disciplinary range of activities to engage students by linking classroom learning to Australian Football.
