AFL Tasmania is pleased to confirm that AFL Youth Ambassador, Jason McCartney, will present two leadership seminars for Tasmanian high school and college students to around 550 students next week.
With the combined assistance of the AFL and AFL Tasmania, the `Live the Dream' seminars are being offered to Tasmanian students at two locations:
1. Tuesday 7th August 1.30pm till 3pm at Scottsdale District School, with 300 students expected to attend.
2. Wednesday 8th August - 10.30am till 12.30pm at the Tasman School, with 250 students expected to attend.
The seminars are a key component of AFL Tasmania's `High School Program' for 2007, which includes rostered and knockout competitions, skill development, educational resources and leadership initiatives.
The AFL, Jason McCartney and the current AFL stars have developed a seminar designed to motivate youth of today and provide them with the necessary tools in order to live their dreams.
There will be an opportunity to speak with Jason McCartney on the 7th August at Aurora Stadium from 10.am - 10.30am.
