• Home & Away Change Rooms
• Umpires Change Rooms
• Canteen & Storage Facilities
• Public Toilet Facilities
• General undercover viewing for Supporters
Congratulations to Pyramid Power President, Brett Kennerley and his team for their tenacity and hard work to assist securing such a development.
AFL Cairns must also thank the Queensland Government, Cairns Regional Council, Sport & Recreation Services and Cazalys Social Club for their assistance and commitment to this facility.
The Pyramid Power FC without doubt is a family and community driven Club.
Pyramid Power’s inaugural year in the AFL Cairns Juniors Competition was 2005, where they fielded teams in U8, U10 & U12.
Despite their inception, it wasn’t until May 3rd 2009 until Pyramid Power called Maher Rd their ‘home’ – Power Park.
From small beginnings, with a place to call home, the Club has grown phenomenally across juniors and female football.
At the beginning of 2011, Pyramid Power had 106 registered players. Currently, in 2015 Pyramid Power have 238 registered players – including strong numbers in the female football landscape.
Their recent history is one of success! They have won two U14 Premierships (2010 & 2013) as well as an U16 Premiership in 2013.
In 2014, the Club field their inaugural Senior Women’s team in the AFL Cairns Women’s Competition.
AFL Cairns – Power on!
