DUFFICY JOINS UTAH STATE

Diamond Valley Junior Shannon Dufficy has signed her National Letter of Intent to become a part of theUtah State Women's Basketball Aggies Women's Basketball program.

The Aggies, also featuring Melbourne-born Funda Nakkasoglou and Rachel Brewster, went 8-23 last season in the Mountain West Conference, but have begun this year's campaign 2-1 in its early stages and signs are promising.

Shannon has grown in leaps and bounds as a player, representing Victoria in this past year's gold medal winning Victorian U20 Women's team, playing in our Big V Basketball State Championship Women and currently representing the U18 School Sport Victoria Girls State team at the Pacific School Games.

DVBA CEO Ross Wignell adds 'This is great news for Shannon and further evidence of what hard work can enable you to achieve.
I like it when a College sends out a coach to look at our Australian talent and something good comes from it. Well Done Shannon, keep improving your game; this will be a tremendous experience'.

Congratulations to Shannon and we look forward to tracking her progress when her Aggies journey begins.
