THE CLIMB TO THE TOP STARTS NOW

‘None of us is as good as all of us’ – Ray Kroc

The stellar season of our Big V Victorian Youth Championship Men continue this week as the boys put aside their 15-7 record and begin the post-season climb to the top of the Big V mountain.

The Eagles finished 3rd in the Watson Division and will play the 2nd placed Melbourne Tigers from the Terrill Division in a knockout Quarter Final on Sunday at 2pm at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC).

The last time these powerhouses met, little over a month ago, the Eagles took home the chocolates with an 85-78 win at the very venue the game will take place at. In that contest, the team-first approach of the Eagles was on show as they boasted 4 double-digit scorers with 2 players in high single digits, they amassed 15 assists and with the ball touching so many sets of hands, didn’t have a quarter that they shot below 42% from the field.

In the Finals series it will take all hands on deck, yet again, to survive and advance and take steps on the climb to the top.

Get out and support the boys on Sunday at 2pm at MSAC and let your energy and passion flow through to the team on the court !
