Player Registration:
Players will only appear on the courtside computer for the first game if they register online by following the link on the email received after team registration.
Additional players can be added online using the team sign-in given on registration.

Season Start Dates:

Men:
Sunday nights commence Sunday 26^th June 2016
Monday nights commence Monday 27^th June 2016
Wednesday nights commence Wednesday 29^th June 2016

Women:
Thursday nights commence Thursday 30^th June 2016

Fees:

Registration fee- $230.00                                                                      

Team Bond- $220.00 (only paid once by new teams)

Door sheet- $65.00 paid prior to every game at courtside office.

Walkovers Fees:

If your team has to forfeit for any reason, DVBA must be notified as soon as possible. If the required notice is given, your team will pay the normal score sheet fee of $65. An un-notified walkover requires your team to pay the score sheet fee of the opposition as well as your own.

To avoid a walkover fee of $130 the following notification is required:

Sunday and Monday Night Games                  by Friday 5pm prior

Wednesday Night Games                              by Monday 5pm prior

Thursday Night Games                                 by Tuesday 5pm prior

Walkover fees are to be paid within 14 days. If your team has outstanding walkover fees after the last round of competition, all match points will be stripped and your team won’t qualify for finals. 

Walkovers can be paid by credit card by contacting the office during business hours on 9432 4720.

Walkover fees are charged by DVBA to cover the cost of court hire and referees for games not played. We appreciate your understanding of the walkover process and compliance with our procedures.

Age:
Players must be over 16 years old.

Uniform:

Teams are to supply their own uniforms. Taping of numbers on singlet will not be permitted.

In the case of a singlet clash, there are clash tops available in the courtside office to hire for a small charge. These are to be returned after the game 

Scoring
Teams must supply a competent scorer for their game prior to the match commencing and for the entire game. A competent scorer is based on the ability to be able to complete the scoresheet throughout the match.

A penalty of 6 points will be awarded against the team not providing a scorer for the whole game. A coach, participating in the game, may not act as a scorer.

In the case of neither team supplying a scorer; a player from each side will be permitted to score. If both teams have only five players, the game will commence with four players from each side. Neither team will be eligible to claim the 6 point penalty.

Competition Notes
Players are required to play a minimum of 7 games to qualify for finals.
New players cannot be registered in the last 7 rounds of competitions.

Players currently participating in NBL, WNBL, ABA and/or Big V can only play in A grade.

Please note that the Sin Bin rule will be applied for all Senior Domestic games
