DVBA Seeking Treasurer Position
The Diamond Valley Basketball Association (DVBA) is seeking a Treasurer to join our Board of Management in a voluntary role. The Treasurer is responsible for overseeing the accounts produced by our employed staff including month end and end of year financial reports in conjunction with our accountants and yearly auditors.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
Overseeing DVBA’s Budget
Supporting DVBA’s Book Keeper in overseeing;
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- ATO requirements
- Work Cover requirements
- Forecasting reports
- Monthly financial updates to Board of Management
Liaise with External Auditors as required
Assist with Association Annual Statement Reports
Experience in the following areas would be an advantage:
- Finance background
- MYOB Experience
- Excel Competent
- Experience in managing budgets & cash flow forecasts
- Business acumen
