Are you ready for try outs?
As they say, 2 for the price of 1! This is a great opportunity for all players to be coached by Al McAughtry and Ross Wignell. The camp will be an ideal preparation for players going into try outs. All VJBL Representative Players from Under 12’s to Under 18’s are welcome to attend regardless of which club you currently play for. If you are born in 1997 – 2004 and have recently played in the Friday night VJBL competition or plan to try out for a Representative team in the upcoming try outs and looking to further improve your game, register for this camp.
Al McAughtry is the recent Under 19 Australian Men’s Assistant Coach, Diamond Valley’s Technical Director of Coaching and the Frankston Blues SEABL Head Coach. Renowned for his ability to develop junior athletes resulting in players going onto represent Victoria and Australia, Al is a fantastic teacher of the game. Ross Wignell now the CEO of the Diamond Valley Basketball Association has operated Victoria Metropolitan’s development program for the past twelve years. Coaching and administering programs responsible for athletes achieving success at State, National and International level, Ross still really enjoys helping young aspiring players understand what is necessary for them to take their game to the next level.
Whichever club you play for, you are most welcome to this camp.

Dates: 30th September & 1st October 2013
Time: 9.30am – 3.30pm
Cost: $100 will include a camp t-shirt
