BIG V GAME DAY: ROUND 13
It’s another weekend of hoops action at the Valley !
This weekend, we get treated to a Friday night women’s double header – where we catch the Victorian Youth Championship Women take on 2nd place Knox Raiders at 6pm, followed by the main event of our State Championship Women taking on the Warrandyte Venom for the very first time this season.
The Venom will hit the floor on Civic Drive boasting one of the premier players in the competition, MVP candidate Nicole Romeo. Romeo is a ball handling wizard with the ability to hurt teams with deep 3pt shooting range and elite level court vision. Our Eagles will have to be on their game to curb her influence and give the home side a shot at taking home the victory.
Then when Sunday rolls around, our Victorian Youth Championship Men go to work – welcoming in the snakes from Kilsyth for a game that shapes up to be a real arm wrestle !
