DUNKING MACHINE BRANDON CONLEY JOINS DV

New addition to our Big V State Championship Men, Brandon Conley is a 4-year player out of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

An imposing 6’7 and 105kg, Brandon was known during his collegiate career as a powerful dunker and persistent, multiple effort rebounder and defender. He joins the Eagles after starting over half of his career games representing the Golden Eagles.

His senior year was his breakout year, where Brandon contributed more points, rebounds and assists than in any other season - averaging 7.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists last season in the Summit League Conference. This also included a 16 point, 12 rebound and 2 block game against New Mexico this past season – the type of form Brandon will look to bring into his first Big V season, here in Australia.

‘We’re really looking forward to bringing Brandon into the group – we think he will provide a strong inside presence at both ends of the floor’, Head Coach Ross Moll said.

‘He is physically strong, he is long and athletic, and his ability to play above the ring will be something that all Eagles fans can look forward to watching each week.’

DVBA CEO Ross Wignell adds ‘Brandon will be an important addition to our Big V State Championship Men’s program. He will be a great target for us inside, he plays with energy, is a super rebounder and is extremely competitive offensively and defensively. We hope this will be infectious to our team.’

Brandon arrives on our shores in early 2017, and will look to hit the ground running to get up to speed with his new teammates and get ready to tackle the season ahead.
