COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Permanent Part - Time Employment
An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Development Officer for 3 days per week to work in a lively, dynamic basketball association. We are looking for someone with preferably at least 3 years’ experience to administrate and deliver the DVBA’s School Program, contribute heavily to the Association’s social media streams and administrate and coach in various DVBA programs. The role will suit someone who has solid basketball knowledge, is well organized, is a great communicator, shows initiative and prides themselves on excellent customer service.
Your key responsibilities will include: promotion of all DVBA programs, events and achievements, administration for the DVBA’s Coaching Education and Women in Sport Program, coach at school clinics and the Northern Camp Program and help link our surrounding Primary Schools to our Junior Domestic Clubs. The role will provide a variety of opportunity to a person who is flexible with their time, passionate about basketball and keen to learn.
