Big V Wrap - Round 4
It was another tough weekend for our Eagles, with plenty to be looked at going forward. However, the timely Easter break will do our teams the world of good as they get the chance to refresh and reset.
Our SCM suffered a harsh loss to a persistent McKinnon Cougars outfit (80 - 76). Ray Sanders was once again influential with 29 points to his name, as was fellow import Brandon Conley who accumulated 16 points with 7 rebounds to go. After the Easter break, our SCM will be back in action against the Waverley Falcons on Sunday the 23rd of April @Waverley.
On the SCW front, our girls went down to the McKinnon Cougars 105 - 88. The fast starting Cougars proved to be too much for our girls, despite Kate Oliver shooting 37 points and 11 rebounds as well as Mikayla Pirini scoring 18 points of her own. Our SCW will be back in action on Saturday the 22nd of April against the Bulleen Boomers here @DV
Our VYCW had a hard night at the office, going down to the Melbourne Tigers 90 - 58. Sian Gillam was valiant scoring 12 points and 6 rebounds. Catch our SCW back in action on Saturday the 22nd of April against the Bulleen Boomers here @DV
On the VYCM front, the boys came up short 92 - 76. Regular performer Grant Turner was solid with 18 points and 11 rebounds to his name, while sharpshooter Dylan Dunstan was influential with 19 points of his own. Our VYCM will be back in action on Sunday the 23rd of April against the Waverly Falcons.
