Buddy Program's Session with our sponsor ANZ
On Sunday 24th September, the Girls Buddy Program met and had an education session on the benefits of saving and were treated to some interviewing techniques from our sponsors at ANZ Greensborough.
The interactive session saw the girls exploring the differences between a want and a need when it comes to finances and the outcome of putting a small amount aside each week.
After learning how to manage their money and find ways to save, Danny O’Keefe then explained how to set yourself apart in an interview process and prove to potential employers that you are able to bounce back from adversity.
The Buddy Program participants have also settled on their first community project so stay tuned!
On behalf of the Buddy Program and the DVBA we would like to sincerely thank Danny and John from ANZ Greensborough for giving up their time to pass on their valuable knowledge to the group.
The Buddy Program will meet again in October with the time to be confirmed.
