BIG V AWARD WINNERS
Congratulations to 2 young Eagles athletes who were recognized at the Big V awards dinner for their performances this past season.
Matt McCarthy from our State Championship Men's team took home the Youth Player of the Year award for his stellar season, prior to departing for college. Matt averaged 13.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game on the 2015 season.
Heaven-Lee Valenti from our Victorian Youth Championship Women was also recognized - being given the Rookie of the Year award and being named in the All Star Five in the guard position. Heaven-Lee averaged 11.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game with the Youth Women.
