Norwood Flames (87) defeated Forestville Eagles (74)

The Norwood Flames took the lead from the first basket and didn't give it up all night when they took the Eagles at home this weekend. 

The Flames offence monopolized the court, contesting every ball and treasuring possession. Their impressive ball skills and cohesive teamwork afforded them 22 assists, 15 second chance points and 12 steals as a team. The Flames' were also effective in disrupting the Eagles structures and interrupting plans and plays.

Despite the tenacity of Eagles like Jess Fergus and Jade Johnson who refused to give in, the Flames consolidated their supremacy this season with another win pushing Forestville down to 4th position, now 3 games behind Norwood at the top of the ladder.

The Flames' Jess Foley led her team in assists, blocks and steals while Jess Good led the way for rebounds (9) and points (24). Amy Lewis scored a game high 24 points for Norwood while Samantha De Francesco led the Eagles with 21 points.
