Flames Win 30 In A Row!

Woodville Warriors (49) lost to Norwood Flames (67)

The Norwood Flames have won their 30th CABL game in a row against the Woodville Warriors in what is one of the most impressive streaks of the competitions history.

The Flames proved once again what a well drilled cohesive outfit they are by opening up their key to score 20 points under full throttle opposition from the Warriors whilst also boxing them out at the other end, limiting Woodville to only 12 in the paint for night. Woodville adjusted making 9 three point attempts but only 2 were good.

It was tough for both sides to catch a break at the hoop, both sides shot with less than 35% accuracy under assault from the opposition and offensive rebounds were hard to come by or convert but Norwood pressed for possession and their increased chances paid off for them.

Carmen Reynolds led the game with 20 points, Katherine Perkas also contributed well with 12 points. Norwood put in a consistent all round effort. Jess Foley led her team in scoring with 13 points,  Emily Keane came off the bench to add 12 points and Amy Lewis scored 10 points too.
