Men

Southern Tigers (1-10) v Sturt Sabres (4-7)

The Sabres will be hoping to avoid falling further behind the top five, when they face the Tigers at Adelaide Arena on Wednesday. After just one win in eight games, the Sabres regained some form with an 85-73 win over Centrals on Saturday. They remain two wins below fifth place. Meanwhile, the Tigers fell to their 10th defeat in 11th starts, going down 65-119 to Forestville. The Sabres defeated the Tigers 90-76 on March 28.

Eastern Mavericks (2-9) v West Adelaide Bearcats (8-4)

The Bearcats need a win to prevent a three game losing streak, when they go up against the Mavericks. The Bearcats fell 69-77 to Norwood on Saturday, slipping into outright fourth place in the process.Elsewhere, the Mavericks went down 70-79 to North, entrenching themselves in ninth position. The Bearcats won their earlier meeting with the Mavericks 70-81.

Women

Southern Tigers (5-6) v Sturt Sabres (7-4)

The Tigers will be playing for a third successive victory, when they battle the Sabres at Adelaide Arena on Wednesday. The Tigers’ most recent triumph came against Forestville – they won 66-51, moving within one win of fifth place. Elsewhere, the fourth placed Sabres knocked off Centrals 80-52. The previous encounter between these teams finished in an 88-84 overtime win for the Sabres.

Eastern Mavericks (4-7) v West Adelaide Bearcats (4-8)

The Mavericks and Bearcats will be hoping to boost their fading finals hopes, in this week’s head-to-head clash. The Mavericks suffered a 60-69 loss to North in Round 11. It was their fourth successive setback. Meanwhile, the Bearcats fell 56-64 to Norwood. They were outscored 4-14 in the third period. Back on March 28, it was the Mavericks who defeated the Bearcats 60-44.
