Norwood Flames (19-0) v North Adelaide Rockets (14-5)

The Rockets will have the opportunity to see how they stack up against the league’s top side, when they visit the Flames at Mars.

The Flames stretched their winning streak to 19 matches last round by defeating Woodville by 10.

Meanwhile, the Rockets picked up their 14th win at the expense of Forestville with the final margin sitting at 24 points.

The Flames lead the season series 1-0.

 

Sturt Sabres (10-9) v Woodville Warriors (11-8)

In the Match of the Round, the result of Saturday’s Sabres-Warriors clash at Pasadena could have a large bearing on the finals aspirations of both teams.

The Sabres are in sixth on 10 wins and nine losses following their 19 point win over Eastern last round.

The Warriors are third with one extra win, despite last round’s 10 point loss to Norwood.

The Warriors lead the season series 1-0.

 

West Adelaide Bearcats (10-9) v Southern Tigers (5-14)

This week’s clash with the Tigers is a must-win for the Tigers, in their pursuit of a finals berth.

The Bearcats’ blew a 19 point lead against South last week, and their five point loss could prove costly. The Bearcats could have been tied with third placed Woodville on 11 wins, but instead are on the same number of wins as sixth placed Sturt (Sturt hold the tiebreaker over the Bearcats).

Elsewhere, the Tigers dropped their seventh straight match, going down to Centrals by five points.

The Bearcats lead the season series 1-0.

 

Central District Lions (3-16) v Forestville Eagles (6-13)

The Lions will be looking to take another scalp when they go up against the Eagles at Starplex.

The Lions picked up their third win of 2015 last round overcoming Southern by five.

Meanwhile, the Eagles are now well and truly out of the finals race, after losing to North by 24.

The Eagles lead the season series 1-0.
