The Adelaide Showgrounds will be installing automated car parking for the car parks along Rose Terrace, which includes the current Car Park 3 designated for use of Wayville Sports Centre patrons.

The changes are as follows:

• The Showgrounds built a new car park directly in front of the sports centre, which is being utilised under an agreement with SA Power Networks from 5:00am to 7:00pm on business days. This car park is not to be used by Wayville Sports Centre patrons during those times.
• The new car park can be used by Wayville Sports Centre patrons outside of these times, being on weekends, public holidays and business days after 7:00pm. To use this new car park at these available times patrons simply need to approach the gate and it will open. There is no requirement to take a ticket for this new car park. It is recommended that during the available times Wayville Sports Centre patrons use this new car park.
• The current car parking entrance into the Wayville Sports Centre will be closed off from April 26, 2013.
• The current Car Park 2 entrance will then provide entry into the current Car Park 2 and 3. Car Park 3 (current Wayville Sports Centre car park) will then become simply an extension of Car Park 2.
• Car Park 2 will have an automated boom gate and ticketing machine installed at the entrance
• All patrons entering this car park will need to obtain entry with a ticket
• Basketball SA will be supplied a Validating Machine that will be located within the Sports Centre.
• Patrons can validate their tickets at any time using this machine to enable free exit of the car park.
• Car parking will remain free for Basketball SA members and patrons using Wayville Sports Centre
