Awards and Presentations

Referees that officiate in Grand Finals will be presented with a medallion immediately after the Grand Final.

All other awards will be presented at a presentation ceremony at 6:15pm at the Arena on Sunday May 5th.

Team awards will be presented to the winning team in each Age Grade of the State and Reserve Championships. These will be in the form of plaques that can be retained by clubs.

Individual Awards in the form of medallions (11 per team) will be awarded to both the champion team and the runner-up in each competition.

The following perpetual Club awards will be presented:

  • State Champion - Male
  • State Champion - Female
  • Trevor Martin State Champion Club
  • Reserve Champion - Male
  • Reserve Champion - Female
  • Reserve Champion Club

For each of the above Club Awards, points are allocated for achievement in the championships in accord with the table below:

In divisions that include teams that do not attract points towards club-wide awards, other teams in the grade will be awarded points as if those teams were not participating.

In cases where a club has two teams participating in a grade, the club must nominate which of their teams is to receive points towards overall club awards.

If a team forfeits a game, its club will lose 5 points from its total in all awards for which that game was relevant, in addition to being fined $50.

The Trevor Martin Champion Club award will be determined by the total points allocated in the State Champion Boys and State Champion Girls divisions.

The Reserve Champion Club award will be determined by the total points allocated in the Reserve Champion Boys and Reserve Champion Girls divisions.
