Lights camera action and at 5pm hundreds of people converged on the Jube to usher in Friday Auskick!
The WFC fired up the BBQ under the guidance of Sammy Hocking whilst his tin lids stacked the esky with Coke..and of course many key women were on hand doing all the real organising. A fantastic Club effort by the Westies!
On the field North & Central juniors were sent to all parts of the Jube for skills sessions before finishing their hour with games of 7's 9's & 11's. Juniors Players Lachlan Harvey (left) and Lachlan Tiziani were on hand to help Auskick coordinator Terry Mutch by umpiring 2 games, which allowed Coaches and Parents to organise and enjoy the evening.
The under 7's were loving the jumping pad and the picture attached could well be mark of the year! Our future stars were on hand as Frank Sultana proudly showed off his Grandson who will be taller than Frankie by the time he heads to school!
At 6pm the Norths & Centrals attacked the BBQ and drinks booth as West and Souths took centre stage.
As the lights took hold the carnival atmosphere was given the big thumbs up and Friday AFL took on a new meaning! Best still was the knowledge Mum, Dad and the kids could sleep in Saturday morning, before heading out to catch the U/13's from 9.30am.
