A mid week injury to Mitchell Henderson has opened the door for the debut of Tom Billings for South.
It won't be a easy game though as he runs into West's premier big man Matt Nelson.
Changes for Round 8
South: IN T Billings, T Corey OUT L Lines, J Higgins
West: IN J Nadan, N Kickett, J Blore OUT: C Rosewarn, J Hodgins, J Cieslik
North: In W Burton, M Fenton, B Mannion OUT: C Bates, J Napier, T Ragenovich
Centrals: IN L Cox, J Gilby, P Nash, C Turner, J Heath OUT: K Farcich, K Ralph, A Mitchell, B Hannon, J Masclet
Centrals go into a must win match still without Anthony Berg and Lachlan Jenkin whilst Jay Carapoletti resumes in the Reserves.
West ares still without Chad Ryan whilst Cynan Smith will resume in the Reserves.
North's have resisted the urge to select Matt Garrick who is recovering from a hamstring injury. Kayle Grundy is still absent as is Ashley Richards and Brad Pressler who are recovering from long term injuries.
South are cruising along nicley with almost no injuries to their best 22.
Centrals need a win to kick start their year and with 3 straight weeks at the Memorial Oval they will be confident they can upset the Dogs.
South and West at the Jube is the match of the day with both keen to test their game plan at the home of Grand Finals. Craig Thomas has plenty of work to do with Ty Corey and Tom Billings learning their structures. Both are class Players but Thomas is all about playing your role, not just playing.
West need to play 100 minutes of footy, they were very good against North 2 weeks ago but only for half a game. They failed to score in the 3rd term when North applied the pressure.
What's a certainity is that we will get two ripper contests!
