A second weekend of home games for the Heelers who are 3-2 in the series so far, with all their losses racked up against the Kilsyth Cobras.

Averaging 22.5 points over the last two games, Brad Ness would look at maintaining his hot streak, going up against the Bullets. Adam Deans, Jannik Blair and Clare Nott have also made significant contributions to the scoreboard for the Heelers so far, especially the 80 rebounds that Adams Deans has picked up in the last six games.

The RSL Queensland Bullets will look fresh as they come off a 2 week break from the NWBL. They are currently 1-3 in the series so far, with their only win coming up against the Sydney Metro Blues with Tom O'Neill-Thorne contributing 31 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists in the opening game of the NWBL.

The Bullets have a very balanced team this year, with Jake Fullwood, Matt McShane, Steven Elliot and Tige Simmons playing critical roles in the team's performance so far.

It would be interesting to see the Spinning Bullets overcome the 28 point deficit in the final score from their previous encounter with the Red Dust Heelers, especially with latter’s squad missing key player, Jannik Blair this weekend.

 

Wollongong Roller Hawks v Perth Wheelcats - Shellharbour City Stadium

One of the better match-ups of this season, the Wheelcats playing the Roller Hawks this weekend will be great games to watch out for. Their previous meeting had the Wheelcats sneak a 5 point win again the Roller Hawks in the final 2 minutes of the game.

Both teams sat at 3 wins to 1 loss at the end of the Cluster round, with the Wheelcats furthering their winning streak to 5-1 over the next weekend, while the Roller Hawks had some time off from the league. 

The Perth Wheelcats have proven to be a force to reckon with, in their comeback to the league. Shaun Norris was player of the week for Round 1 and certainly made a close contender for that title the following round. He has averaged an unbelievable 33.1 points, 12.5 rebounds and 9.5 assists in the league so far. Amber Meritt and Kim Robbins have put up some great performance as well and will be looking to increase those figures.

Backing up from their loss to the Wheelcats on the first day of Round 1, the Rollerhawks have defeated every other team that weekend.

Their squad is as solid as ever with their main line up having so many shooting options. Brett Stibners, who was in the top contenders for the High point MVP last year, looks just as good this year. Nick Taylor & Luke Pople continue to be outside shooting threats for the team making it impossible to defend.
