U18 State team singlet presentation dinner
The evening commenced with Bert Bargeus, SA Country President, presenting the participants of the recent NZ trip representing the Country Cup with their place medallions.
Mark Billington, Kris Dalitz, Glenn Mathieson, Mason Munzberbg and Matthew Thomson received their medals on the night.
Jacob Holmes spoke of his experiences with SA Country and we would like to once again thank him for the generosity of his time and experience. Everyone present enjoyed his talk. I'm sure we will hear more of kids parking their parents cars so the headlights allow extended training at home!
State High Performance Manager, David Ingham, spoke to the families about the importance of positive messages from outside of the playing group for the duration of the tournament.
Finally, head coaches James Rattus and Mark Billington presented their teams and announced our 2016 Captains. Zali Grosser was also welcomed into the team, a late call up on Friday. Brenna McKay will captain the U18 Women and Chelsea Masclet will be her deputy. Daniel Stock will captain the U18 Men and Ky Matthews-Hampton will vice captain.
