Big V 2015 - Call for Committee & Volunteers
Although the Big V season 2015 is still many months away, it takes a lot of preparation to get our Boomers Big V teams on the court - even though the 2014 season has just finished activity now starts for the 2015 season.
The first step in preparation for the 2015 Senior Championship season is a “Call for Volunteers” to form the Big V Subcommittee and Game day support team.
The Bulleen-Templestowe Basketball Club is seeking the support of volunteers for our Big V program in the following areas:
- Big V Subcommittee Members
- Big V Club Delegate
- Program Convenor
- Front of House (Ticket Collection, Door Staff)
- Team Liaison Officers
- Court Manager
- Entertainment Coordinator
- DJ / Court Announcer
- Game day set up/ pack up team
- Café/ Canteen Support
- Season Launch - event coordinator
The Senior program would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our volunteer team. This is a great opportunity to be involved in our senior basketball program and gain experience in the sports industry.
The critical work that volunteers do does not go unrecognized. Volunteers who provide six or more hours of their time and talent working on the subcommittee or in game day activities will receive a free family pass to all Bulleen Boomers Big V home games.

The first volunteer and Big V subcommittee meeting will be held on Thursday 4th Sep 2014, 7:30pm in the Bar at Sheahans Road Reserve. The meeting will begin the planning process for the 2015 Big V season, which supports the Bulleen-Templestowe Basketball Club’s objective to promote and advance the game of basketball at all ages and skill levels.
