Dual Boomer Winners at Big V Awards
It was the Pearce and Pearce show at the Big V awards on Saturday night, as two of our Big V Boomers were recognised for their performances in season 2015.
Emma Pearce was a co-winner of the Youth Championship Women Most Valuable Player (MVP), sharing the award with Rebecca Ott from Knox. Emma was also recognised as a member of the YCW All Star Five.
Lauren Pearce was awarded the Defensive Player of the Year for State Championship Women.
Congratulations to both Emma and Loz on outstanding Big V seasons on their awards and for their contributions to our Big V teams in 2015.
And to anyone still wondering, Emma and Lauren are not sisters and are not related - just happen to share the same surname !
