Update on Sheahans Road Redevelopment Project
On behalf of the Board, I’m very excited to announce that our Sheahans Road Redevelopment Project is scheduled to begin in July 2016. This change has been a long time coming for our Club and will give us a fantastic upgrade to our facilities and importantly adding a much needed 3rd court!
The finalised redevelopment plans are expected in the next two weeks. We will display them in the foyers at Sheahans Road and Templestowe Leisure Centre & at our Club Website, as soon as they are available.
In order to facilitate the building works we need to vacate Sheahans Road from early July 2016. Understandably, this will cause some disruptions and changes to our programs over the next 12 months until we move back into our new home.
Clearly our first priority will be to minimise the impact on our competitions/games. With 2 less courts available in our planning, all training programs will need to make some reductions to their current schedules. We will endeavor to minimise these impacts as best we can and we ask you to be understanding and patient with us as we work this through.
All our programs at BTBC are important to us and we will continue to do our best to support them all.
Keep in mind that in the end, the small sacrifices we will all make in the coming 12 months will be well worth the end result for all members of our great Club!
