In National Youth Week 2013, April 5-14, PCYC's Time 4 Kids will raise awareness and tap community support for PCYC's work with young offenders and young people 'at-risk'.
Time 4 Kids is a great opportunity for business to get involved and work jointly with NSW Police in supporting their local PCYC.
Time 4 Kids gives business, community leaders, celebrities and volunteers the chance to be detained in a portable jail cell, usually under the supervision of a Police Officer.
In exchange for their release, the detainee must raise bail for PCYC - a donation that supports the work of our Police Youth Case Manager's and the local PCYC.
PCYC police work to provide a safe environment in which young people are given opportunities to engage in fun, safe activities, and develop their leadership potential.
Time 4 Kids events showcase the work of PCYC Police and their work to help turn young lives around.
This year Sunshine Coast Regional Manager, Paul Tresise will be 'doing time' to assist the PCYC in raising much needed funds for 'at-risk' youths.
On Sunday April 6 from 12:30pm, Paul will be locked up at the Sunshine Plaza with the only way out being to raise bail of $1,000 prior to the event or during his time behind bars rattling a tin!
So come down and support this worthy cause or donate now!
