Selina Napa (pictured) and the Cook Islands netball team lucked out on any chances of winning the gold medal yesterday when they were edged out by Fiji 52-50.
While the Cooks played a better match yesterday they just couldn’t contain the hungry Fijians who will face Papua New Guinea in Saturday's gold medal match at 3.30pm.
The Cook Islands will meet Tokelau in the bronze medal playoff and if the team fields their best 7 players and stick to their own game plan – they should be able to secure the bronze medal. - Matariki Wilson: Cook Islands News
